The course will start at 2pm on Wed 29th July and end after the sharing on Sat 8th August. Daily classes will run from 9.30am to 5.15pm.

Masterclass 1 | Contemporary
Tues 27th – Thurs 29th| Led by Roberto Lori
Roberto Lori will be exploring a contemporary jazz style of work at AIYF 2010.

Masterclass 2 | Ballet
Friday 30th July – Sunday 1st August | Led by Scottish Ballet
Participants will develop their technique and explore both classical and modern ballet through Scottish Ballet’s repertoire.

Masterclass 3 | Contemporary
Monday 2nd – Thursday 5th August | Led by Andy Howitt (Artistic Director of YDance).
This masterclass will include a performance at the AIYF International Dance Gala.

Day of Dance | Various
Participating dance groups from AIYF 2010 will gather on Friday 6 August for a mass sharing experience that will explore a range of classical, contemporary and cultural dance styles.

The experience, which is also open to to both residential and non residential Dance Lab participants, will be led by tutors from participating groups.

Citymoves Young Dance Lab
Come and learn new moves and different dance styles during the week to stimulate your imagination, and get tickets to see a variety of dance by the companies at Aberdeen International Youth Festival. A performance of the weeks work will take place on the last day.
