The inspirational
AIYF Compose! concert provides an opportunity for the audience to
enjoy the Hebrides Ensemble premiere the work of our five young composers
- Kirsty Robertson and Sally Dodds, both students of the University of Aberdeen,
Jeremy Coleman of Aberdeen Grammar School, Lliam Patterson of Dyce Academy and
Dmitri Olayzola of Robert Gordon's College. Come along and show your support for
these young composers as, in some cases, their first composition is premiered.

Members of the
BBC SSO will perform exciting new pieces by some of the world's most promising
composers. The winner of the 'Aberdeen Music Prize' will be also announced
at this event.
