Ciurlionis School of Arts Choir Concert
 
St Machar Cathedral, Monday 12 March

On Monday 12 March, the Cuirlionis School of Arts Chior from Vilnius in Lithuania will be visiting Aberdeen to give a concert in St Machar Cathedral, alongside Douglas Academy Senior Choir, from Milngavie, Glasgow.

Conducted by Romualdas Grazinis, the varied programme will include Classical, Contemporary and Folk Songs.

Entry is by programme on the door, £5/£3.


Dance Summer School
 
25th Anniversary Year

The Dance Summer School brochure for summer 2007 is now available.

The Dance School is held annually as part of the Aberdeen International Youth Festival. The school offers an intensive course in dance for students aged 12 - 16, a performance course for advanced level students in full time training for a career in dance and a 'taster day' for younger dance students.

The Dance School celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2007. Past students have gone on to Northern Ballet Theatre, Jean Ann Ryan Productions, English National Ballet, English National Opera, Birmingham Royal Ballet, Norwegian Ballet and Ballet des Jeunes.

Dance teachers are welcome to come to the dance school and watch classes. Please contact us for more information.

Grampian Youth Orchestra and University of Aberdeen Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Julian Clayton - Sunday 6 May.
