Youth Theatre Opportunity - 13th May

Aberdeen International Youth Festival has commissioned an exciting multi-media version of A Midsummer Night's Dream to be put together with young people in Inverurie. Local theatre director Rhona Mitchell and award-winning physical theatre performer Al Seed will be creating the original new piece with young performers in weekly sessions throughout May, June, and July.

Anyone interested in being a part of this exciting Aberdeenshire Youth Theatre production is invited to come along to an open workshop on the 13th May at St. Mary's Church, Inverurie 3pm - 5pm.

The piece will be put together and rehearsed in Inverurie every Sunday starting 20th May (with an additional rehearsal on the evening of Friday 25th May).

Performances of the piece will be presented at The Lemon Tree as part of Aberdeen International Youth Festival, 6th, 7th and 8th August.

Anyone interested in finding out more should telephone 01224 213800 or email admin@aiyf.org to book a place at the open workshop on the 13th May.
