How to Apply
The application deadline for Festival 2009 is February 2009.
We are accepting applications up to 2012.
Festival 2009: 29 July - 8 August
Festival 2010: 28 July - 7 August

Participating companies are given a full schedule of performance
opportunities, including taking part in Gala performances
in the major venues in Aberdeen, which include the 1200 seat
Aberdeen Music Hall and the newly refurbished 1400 capacity
His Majesty's Theatre.
The Festival also has a extended programme taking performances
to venues in towns and villages throughout the North East
of Scotland, a fringe programme in more informal venues and
a programme of workshops and masterclasses with guest artists
and companies at the Festival.
Participating companies can apply to take part in the whole
Festival, or just to stay for a few days. Companies are asked
to bring short pieces of up to 10 minutes for Gala performances,
as well as up to 90 minutes of repertoire.
All participants stay at the University of Aberdeen, providing
maximum opportunities to work together and socialise.

How to Apply
You will need to complete an application form and send us
a recent recording of your company. In order to be eligible
to attend the Festival:
a) Your company must have non-professional status (i.e. company
members not making their living from the professional fees)
b) Company members must be aged between 12 and 25 years
