Past students include Mairearad Green, (cloud 9) Mark Laurenson, Vaila Tait, Innes Watson (Borders Young Fiddles) and Amy Lord - both semi-finalists at the BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician Award 2004.

Students have gone on to study at Plockton and RSAMD and many are now pursuing careers in traditional music.

Most students on the Splore come from Scotland, but we have welcomed students from Brittany in France, Waterford in Ireland, Israel, Japan and Norway.
